Mindful Birthing Workshop

This workshop focuses on instructing expectant moms and their partners in breathing, relaxation, and visualization techniques to utilize through pregnancy, labor, and birth. Participants will understand the connection of breath and imagery to easing fear and pain during childbirth. The techniques assist in decreasing anxiety, staying grounded in present moment, and tapping in to one's instinctive self to experience a more embodied and mindful pregnancy, birth, and journey into motherhood. Also included will be useful "tips" on how to advocate for an empowered birth within a hospital setting.
