Join the Nearly New Yorkers at HOME Power Yoga for a clean eating workshop. First, we will demonstrate some vegetarian and gluten-free recipes including collard wraps with miso-roasted sweet potatoes, homemade hummus and wild rice slaw, a coconut curry lentil soup, and whole-food-based energy bites. After that, we will open the floor up to a cocktail party. You and your friends can mingle with a freshly-juiced mocktail or cocktail and sample all of the recipes. We will also send you home with a meal plan for a week of clean meals with all of the recipes for foods so delicious, you won't know you're cleansing.

Led by certified Yoga for Athletes trainer Alison Gryzb. Kids will take a yoga class and learn about different muscle groups used in sports and breathing techniques to help reduce stress.
Instructor: Alison Gryzb
Alison Gryzb is a passionate teacher of vinyasa yoga, yoga for athletes and children’s yoga. She walked into her first hot yoga class as a runner recovering from a back injury, fell in love instantly with the demanding and healing physical practice and eventually dedicated herself to the emotional and mental connection as well.
Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Alison attended college at Indiana University and studied education and psychology. She entered the fitness industry as an Instructor of SLT and brings that intensity to her yoga classes mixed with patience and sweet southern charm. Alison is a sports lover who works with athletes of all ages, and teaches at a hockey camp where her sons attend. She also loves helping fellow moms find some peace.
