    Cathy McKeon

Cathy is a 500-hour RYT. She began practicing yoga in 2016 as a complement to marathon training and developed a passion for the practice ever since. She initially found that yoga improved her performance as an endurance athlete and discovered that practicing overall made her physically stronger, increased mental focus and grounded her emotionally. Yoga powerfully impacted the way her body felt and began to transform the way she lived her life. This led her to deepen her knowledge and practice through teacher training.

In 2018 she became RYT-200 certified in Kokoro Yoga under Navy SEAL Commander Mark Divine, who teaches yoga as part of a framework to implement mental resiliency.  She completed an additional RYT-200 teacher training through HOME Power Yoga followed by a Baptiste Assisting Course, a week-long Baptiste Level 1 experience, and an Intensive Yoga for Athletes certification. She is currently participating in Home Power Yoga’s 300hr Advanced Teacher Training.

Cathy believes strongly that yoga is a powerful practice that integrates the development of physical strength, mental resiliency, and spiritual well-being.  She is passionate about empowering students to explore their limitless potential on and off their mat by accessing their true power that resides within.

Cathy lives in Westfield with her husband and four children. When not practicing yoga, you can find her training for a race, at the beach, on a Disney vacation, at a soccer field, or in a hockey rink.
