Zach began practicing yoga regularly in 2012 as a rest day from the gym. Over time a shift happened and he found himself spending more time practicing yoga than going to the gym as a way to reduce stress after a long day of work. The physical and mental benefits of yoga nurtured his body and mind in ways that he had not imagined. He wanted to share these benefits with others so he enrolled in a 200-hour teacher training.
Zach teaches a power yoga style steeped in the methodology of Baptiste Yoga. He is a certified Baptiste Yoga Teacher, completing Level One training with Baron Baptiste as well as the Baptiste Institute Art of Assisting course. In addition to power yoga, Zach also teaches yin yoga; completing his 50-hour certification with world-renowned teacher Bernie Clark. His classes are physically challenging yet lighthearted, and accessible to all students to meet them where they are in their journey. He loves sharing this practice with his students and seeing them grow to reach their fullest potential on and off the mat.
When not at a yoga studio, you'll most likely find Zach sharing in the groove at a concert or hanging out at a local coffeehouse.
